Pottery has been my passion since I first began working with it in1988 in Bogota, Colombia.

In 1990 I won a six-month scholarship to study glazing techniques in Nagoya, Japan.

It was an experience that enriched my craft. As I derived inspiration from the beauty and simplicity of traditional Japanese pottery.

On my return to Colombia I continued developing my style.

In 2003 I moved to London and was inspired by my new environment.

I find the alchemical process of firing clay and then glazes fascinating.

My wish is to make things that are both beautiful and useful and that people will enjoy in their everyday life.
